You read it here first. One day the name Joe Ballantyne will be famous as top class drummer but today he became the latest pupil of Teresa Allen School of Motoring to successfully pass his driving test at the test centre in Sevenoaks. He poses here with his stick of Hastings rock (don’t ask!).
I am very proud of Lisa Fancett who passed her driving test today (22nd May) at the Sevenoaks Driving Test Centre at her first attempt. Lisa began driving at the age of 17 and then gave up to have her family. She came to Teresa Allen School of Motoring to try and remember what she learnt before the babies and brush up her skills. She also had valuable practise with her husband as her supervisor. It didn’t take long for Lisa to reach test standard and I should like to thank her very much for the chocolates.
Dan Cox from Sevenoaks recently did an intensive driving course with Teresa Allen and passed brilliantly at Sevenoaks Test Centre. Dan had not driven for a couple of years after being a passenger in very nasty accident and was very courageous to get back behind the wheel. He got only 1 minor fault which he was annoyed about but remaines very proud nonetheless. Good luck Dan!
Well done to Tracey Friend from Wrotham who passed her Practical Driving Test yesterday. Tracey had tried 7 times previously with other schools but, after a few driving lessons in Sevenoaks with Teresa she passed at last and with only 3 minor faults. This pass came just in time fr Tracey who is expecting a baby next month.
I cannot take all the credit here, but I did step in to help Josh Epstein from Paddock Wood pass his car driving test today at the Sevenoaks Test Centre at his first attempt. Josh’s usual instructor was unable to attend the test and I was able to help out. Josh only drove my car twice before today’s test which makes his pass even more amazing. Still, this was my 3rd visit to the Test Centre this year and Josh made it a hat-trick of passes for me. My pass rate now stands at 75% and I am thrilled by this. It’s all thanks to my wonderful pupils.
Hooray! It didn’t get above freezing today but the snow stayed away. 2013, 2 tests taken and 2 tests passed. Today was the turn of Mr John Muldoon from Borough Green who passed his test at the Sevenoaks Test Centre. John has held an American driving licence for over 35 years but had to take the British test in order to drive here. It’s not easy overturning the habits of a lifetime but John did it magnificently. He is excited and I am very proud once again.
Well done to Jacob Burgess from Weald who passed his Practical Driving Test today at Sevenoaks Test Centre. This Jacob’s first attempt and he passed brilliantly with only 1 minor fault. It was a difficult day though because we woke to snow and didn’t know until mid-day whether the test would be going ahead. Jacob faced this uncertainty very well and held his nerves at bay. I am very proud of Jacob who has joined a long list of people who have passed at the first attempt with Teresa Allen School of Motoring.
Christmas came early today for Sahadat Dipu who passed his practical driving test at the Sevenoaks Test Centre today. Dipu worked very hard to attain the necessary standard to pass this test and I am extremely proud of him. This was my last visit to the Sevenoaks Test Centre this year and to finish on a high note like this was icing on the cake. Well done, Dipu.
This week saw Tom Barnes from Ightham pass his practical driving test at Sevenoaks Test Centre at his first attempt. At Teresa Allen School of Motoring we pride ourselves in giving quality tuition that not only enables students to pass at the first attempt but also to learn the skills to stay safe on the increasingly busy roads. It’s no mean feat to keep one’s nerves in check on such an important day but Tom managed beautifully.
Well done to Jacob Law who passed his practical driving test today at Sevenoaks Test Centre on his first attempt. It’s not easy to stay calm under pressure of a watchful driving examiner but he rose to the challenge.Jacob and I had a lot of fun together in our lessons and I shall miss the laughs. I wish you all the luck in the future.
